Self-Catering Country Cottage

A small rustic gate and flagstone pathway lead from the private parking area through lavenders and fragrant planting to reveal the front door of this traditional self-catering country cottage, dating back to1899.  The old style cottage hallway, with its painted stone walls, high beamed ceiling and antique furniture, has a vintage glass-panelled door leading into the charming  open plan living room.

The bright kitchen with its white painted units has delightful garden views and is well-equipped with an electric hob & oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee-maker, blender and lots of crockery, utensils, pots & pans.  There is a washing machine, a tumble dryer, iron and ironing board in an adjacent utility area.

Also in the living room is a dining table and 6 chairs, and a lounge area with a couch, easy chairs and an antique writing desk.  The large flat screen TV has Irish, English and international channels, a DVD player, CD player and complimentary Broadband Internet access.

The ground floor bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe and dressing table and is located beside a bathroom with shower and toilet and hand basin.

The romantic and spacious Master Bedroom on the first floor has a beamed ceiling and an impressive 5 ft half-canopied bed, antique wardrobe, dressing table and an impressive vintage writing desk at the end of the bed.   The relaxing lounge area of this big room has a Welsh dresser, book case, a squashy couch and easy chair and a picture window with wonderful countryside views.  The Master Bedroom has an upgraded en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.

Steps to the second floor lead to the delightful attic bedroom, loved by children.  This attic space has two single beds, separated by curtains, roof window and there is a toilet and wash basin on this level.   NB: This attic bedroom is not suitable for adults.
