Granary Cottage is a traditional style country cottage that oozes character and traditional features crafted during many re-incarnations since it was built in 1899. In past generations it has served as a dwelling, a corn store, potato store, for bacon curing and for tobacco drying, with lots of stories to tell!

Approached by a short tree-lined avenue leads up to a private parking area and carport, from where a flagstone path winds through lavenders and daisies to the blue front door with its slated canopy.

The old style cottage hallway has painted stone walls, a high, beamed ceiling and stairs to the first floor. From the hall a vintage glass-panel door opens into a charming open plan living room with kitchen, dining area and lounge. The bright kitchen has white painted units and delightful garden views, and is well-equipped with a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee-maker, cafetiere, blender and lots of crockery, utensils, pots & pans. The washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are located in an adjacent utility area.

Also in the living room is a dining table and 6 chairs, and a lounge area with a couch, easy chairs and an antique writing desk, games and jigsaws. The large flat screen TV has Irish, English and international channels, a DVD player, CD player and there is fibre optic Broadband Internet access.

The ground floor bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe and dressing table and is located beside the bathroom with shower and toilet and hand basin.

Upstairs, the romantic and spacious Master Bedroom on the first floor has a beamed ceiling and a 5 ft/1.5m  half-canopied bed, antique wardrobe, dressing table and an impressive vintage writing desk. The relaxing lounge area of this big room has a Welsh dresser, bookcase, a couch and easy chair and a picture window with wonderful countryside views. The Master Bedroom has an upgraded en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.

Steps to the second floor lead to a delightful attic bedroom, loved by children. This attic space has two single beds, separated by curtains, a velux window and there is a toilet and wash basin on this level. NB: This attic bedroom is not suitable for adults.
